So I'm trying to decide on stocking my 120 Gallon. I already have a pair of black and white clowns and a yellow tang. I'm wanting to get another tang, either a kole tang or a powder blue, and looking for some input on which would be better. I'm still wanting to get a six line wrasse and a mandarin once the tank fully matures. Any thoughts on which tang I should go with?

I now each fish is different but we tried a kole with a yellow several times and the kole is a very passive fish keep this in mind when selecting

Powder blues are not as aquarium friendly as the kole tang, I've had both and still have the kole, powder blue was a beautiful fish but they seem to have a hard time adjusting to the aquarium lifeBobby HutchinsonComment

If you decide to go with the Powder Blue, we have one that will coming out of hypo in a couple weeks. We also have a small and large Powder Brown in hypo that are also beautiful fish.

I'm still debating. I love the looks of the powder blue but am concerned about keeping the fish healthy. My yellow tang gets alone great with my Sailfin and Naso tang... They are in a 220 though...

Im a HUGE fan of tangs. Since theres such a wide array to choose from. You should go more unique. How about a tomini or a dussimeri. Maculiceps look awesome once they get around 5". Orange shoulders and leiutenants are nice as well. Youll never go wrong with hippos or nasos, but everyone and there mom has them. I actually like the kole's, but in my experience most bristletooth tangs do better in well established aquariums. Im talking a couple of years at least. Hmm. I havent ordered or sold a nice chocolate tang in a while! DANIEL: how big is your yellow tang?Comment

Ahh yes. The Fowler's! In my top 5! Just so happens they're available to me and I plan on making an order soon. Anyone interested in that, another tang, or hell, anything for that matter. Let me know. Anything that doesn't touch my waters is discounted, so have your QTs ready... I actually have a little bit of fish coming out of QTs today. Stay tuned for a mini update! Powder Blues would do much better in a 6' tank, Sohals a 10' (350g) tank.
