  • Shrinking Anemone

My purple long tentacle has been shrinking for about 3 weeks now and has not taken any food for about the same. I'm getting concerned that it may be dying. Anyone have any advice?

Has it lost color? Do you see any brown stuff being spit out? Bummer, are you running carbon? How long have you had it?

ok, used up my 4 questions...

I am running the AI SOL lights and water quality is very good. I just did a big water change. No color loss or excretions that I can tell. I have probably had it 6-7 months. The perculas used to be in it all the time but now they do not venture in very often.

Yeah, the carbon might help if there's a build up of excretions from any zooanthids, etc. Those can be toxic.
