  • Just my luck, re: anemone

So the bta I bought from Christian on Saturday Iíve had a hell of a time with it detaching and rolling around in the flow of my powerheads and actually got stuck on my gyre but I had the guards on it so no harm done except it being pissed off. So I decided to turn all powerheads off and only have the return pump going. So now itís settled for a couple of days. Too bad Iíll never enjoy it unless it decides to move again. And if my clowns pair with it Iíll never see them either. Behind my scape.

So when I have more time I might turn a powerhead on and direct it right at it to see if I can get it to detach again and find a spot more pleasing to the viewers.

I dropped flow otiginally a couple couple of times. Change direction of my other powerheads and it had minimal flow but kept detaching. I deleted the video showing the flow around it. Very minimal at this location.

Oh yeah, the Ricordea I ended up lightly tying fishing line around it and the rock so it hopefully attaches. I canít wait for growth because the color is amazing. Horrible pic but couldnít really get a good top down zoomed in pic. But an awesome neon green.

Happened to me also before, but with a toadstool. I wanted him in a certain spot. He chose different. He kept on floating around the tank, and then he attached himself, and split close to my clam!! He has since split several times, but my clowns luv him. Need to get rid of more of the toadstool soon, as he is getting beginning to tick the clam off again

I have 3 bubble tips now because the one i have went through the overflow strainer and divided itself. Now I have 2 bigger anemones and one small one.

Your tank looks great. I love the rockwork.
