Drum roll Please! And the answer is!

                      b) mineralization, nitrification, denitrification

Biologic filtration is the activity of living organisms on particulate and metabolic waste that eliminates or reduces toxic substances and/or nutrients. It includes changing organic wastes into non-organic nutrients (mineralization), changing toxic ammonia and nitrite into nitrate (nitrification) and changing nitrate and nitrogen gas (Denitrification). a), c), and d) are just products of the process.
